National Compliment Day

One of my upline ladies, Janice, posts when it is National “fill in the blank” Day.  I think today, being National Compliment Day, fits Stampin’ Up! quite well.  When was the last time you said “way to go” or one of my favorites “you rock”?

To keep the momentum going, here are a couple of my thank you cards that could very easily be sent with those sentiments in mind…

February Class

The class for February is going to be the “Lots of Happy Card Kit” from the Occasions catalog!  This kit is an introduction to watercolor pencils, which are new to me too, and has refills available.

When: Sunday, February 18th from 1-4pm
Cost: $40

If you sign up before Feb 1st, the preorder price is $35.

To add a little extra incentive… right now Sale-a-bration is happening!  For every $50 you spend, you get a free item out of the Sale-a-bration catalog.  How cool is that?!  I will have a sign up at Catch up on Crafting on January 21st.

Here’s a quick video to show you more of the kit…

Paper Pumpkin #redboxchallenge

I have a “small” addiction to Paper Pumpkin :).  So when they put out the Red Box Challenge, I couldn’t help it.  I put together what I thought was a WOW project.  Not only is it my first 3d project, but it has a piece of January through November of 2017 in it.  If you are interested in participating in the #redboxchallenge, please see the details below…

Take the Red Box Challenge! Put together a WOW project using an unused, past kit—or buy a past kit that you’ve had your eye on. Then share an image of your project on Facebook or Instagram with#redboxchallenge before January 31 and you will be entered into a random drawing to win Paper Pumpkin’s March kit, AND the winners of the drawing will get the kit before anyone else! Follow this link for full information, terms, and conditions.

The Gift of Cards

When my mom started looking for a gift to give all the ladies in her office this year, she thought of me.  Normally she gives the ladies fuzzy socks or a cute trinket that fits them.  Instead, this year, she gave them all a box of cards.  Inside the box were 2 birthday, 2 thank you, and 1 congratulations.  I was excited for her to give them out because I really enjoyed making the cards that she put inside them.

Little did I know that one of the women who received the box would think they were so cute, that she decided she would do the same for her group of girl friends.  This time I made 3 birthday and 2 thank you cards, all geared toward women.  As you can see from some of the pictures below, they are adorable!

Part of Stampin’ Up!’s statement of the heart is “To love what we do and share what we love”.  I definitely got to do that this Christmas season.  I am blessed to love what I do and being able to share it with my family and friends as they give and receive gifts.  Thank you Mom and Mishelle!

November’s Teaser

Just another little teaser from Stampin’ Up! for November’s Paper Pumpkin…

~It’s called November’s Paper Pumpkin kit, and it is amazing. When they open the box they’ll find eight little somethings that they might want to hang by the chimney with care—or on a wrapped gift or a neighbor’s door.~

Even more reason to make sure you sign up by November 10th to get this kit! I can’t wait!

Birthday Stack

This is what happens when I stamp-a-stack… I made a cute birthday card that I fell in love with.  It’s so simple, but elegant and classy.  I’ve had a couple people see it and request that I make some for them.  It’s a messy job but somebody’s got to do it :).

Each card has three flowers, 1 in each color… that’s a lot of flowers.

They look so pretty!  I can’t wait for them to be given out or mailed and make someone’s day!
