Paper Pumpkin #redboxchallenge

I have a “small” addiction to Paper Pumpkin :).  So when they put out the Red Box Challenge, I couldn’t help it.  I put together what I thought was a WOW project.  Not only is it my first 3d project, but it has a piece of January through November of 2017 in it.  If you are interested in participating in the #redboxchallenge, please see the details below…

Take the Red Box Challenge! Put together a WOW project using an unused, past kit—or buy a past kit that you’ve had your eye on. Then share an image of your project on Facebook or Instagram with#redboxchallenge before January 31 and you will be entered into a random drawing to win Paper Pumpkin’s March kit, AND the winners of the drawing will get the kit before anyone else! Follow this link for full information, terms, and conditions.

Occasions Catalog Sneak Peak

Yes!  I can finally share a sneak peak of a cute stamp set in the 2018 Occasions Catalog!  I am part of a group of women swapping samples before the release and I got to play with the Fruit Basket Bundle.  Including the usual DSP, stampin’ spots, and coordinating cardstock, this product suite comes with…. washi tape and sequins!  I think I’m going to have a class just on this product bundle because of how cute and versatile it is, my love for watermelon and pineapples aside :).  So, without further ado…

The Gift of Cards

When my mom started looking for a gift to give all the ladies in her office this year, she thought of me.  Normally she gives the ladies fuzzy socks or a cute trinket that fits them.  Instead, this year, she gave them all a box of cards.  Inside the box were 2 birthday, 2 thank you, and 1 congratulations.  I was excited for her to give them out because I really enjoyed making the cards that she put inside them.

Little did I know that one of the women who received the box would think they were so cute, that she decided she would do the same for her group of girl friends.  This time I made 3 birthday and 2 thank you cards, all geared toward women.  As you can see from some of the pictures below, they are adorable!

Part of Stampin’ Up!’s statement of the heart is “To love what we do and share what we love”.  I definitely got to do that this Christmas season.  I am blessed to love what I do and being able to share it with my family and friends as they give and receive gifts.  Thank you Mom and Mishelle!

December Library Class

I’m so sorry this is late, but a HUGE Thank You to those that came out to my class at the White Tanks Library in December!  I had several returnees from my November class, and quite a few who were doing my class for the first time.  As well as our wonderful Librarian, Kim.  I had a great time creating the cards and helping you make four Christmas cards.  I’m still working out the details for January’s class, so keep your eyes open for another class towards the end of the month.

Class at the Library

A quick shout out to all the ladies who made my first class at the library a success!  I couldn’t have done it without you!

Before the class was able to be a success, here a few pics of the prep before hand…

The Watercolor Christmas kit and stamp set made prep easy and fun.

I will be doing this class at the library again in December.  However the cards will be completely different!  Same kit, different cards.  You’ll just have to wait and see what they look like :).

November’s Teaser

Just another little teaser from Stampin’ Up! for November’s Paper Pumpkin…

~It’s called November’s Paper Pumpkin kit, and it is amazing. When they open the box they’ll find eight little somethings that they might want to hang by the chimney with care—or on a wrapped gift or a neighbor’s door.~

Even more reason to make sure you sign up by November 10th to get this kit! I can’t wait!
