My little corner of the stamping world began shortly after I met my husband. I am a computer nerd that understands boxes and formulas, not colors and designs. It was on my computer that my husband and I met, through one of the many matching websites. Not long after he and I met, he introduced me to his family. One Sunday after church, his mother invited me to a Stampin' Up! event. I had no idea what it was, but it was time with her, so why not. Little did I know then that 3 years later, and in a different state, I would become a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. Since then I have enjoyed making cards and meeting new people. It is through my stamping that I have met some close friends and had some rather creative and memorable moments. I invite you to join me on this journey... whether you're a computer nerd or a scrapbooker and everwhere in between, we always end up having fun!

I love Paper Pumpkin!  Just in case you hadn’t heard me say it enough, here’s one more time… I love Paper Pumpkin!  It’s a fun and easy creative escape that comes to your door once a month.  Oh, and if that’s not enough, I have a class right here at my house on the last Thursday of every month just for Paper Pumpkin.  If you don’t have time to work on it at your house, come to mine!  We can open and create our new kits together.

Birthday Stack

This is what happens when I stamp-a-stack… I made a cute birthday card that I fell in love with.  It’s so simple, but elegant and classy.  I’ve had a couple people see it and request that I make some for them.  It’s a messy job but somebody’s got to do it :).

Each card has three flowers, 1 in each color… that’s a lot of flowers.

They look so pretty!  I can’t wait for them to be given out or mailed and make someone’s day!

I’m so stoked about this!  Stampin’ Up! has released a preview of what the October and November Paper Pumpkin Kits are going to be!  Not only do I love plaid, but Christmas is my favorite holiday.  This year October and November are going to be coordinating card making AND gift giving kits.  Paper Pumpkin has been my go to for easy card making projects and I can’t wait to see what they come up with this time!  If you are interested in this, please contact me to sign up BEFORE October 10th to make sure you receive these.

Watercolor Christmas Preorder

Don’t forget… to make sure you’ve placed your preorder for the Watercolor Christmas Class with me before Monday, Sept. 3.  If you preorder through me, the cost of the stamp set and project kit is only $40!  That means that when you come to my house on Sunday, October 15th, you will leave with 20 handmade Christmas cards ready to go, and a stamp set.  If 20 cards simply isn’t enough, you can easily order additional project kits to make more in multiples of 20 cards.  But wait, if you have preordered the class with me, you won’t have to order another stamp set because you will already have it!

Images from the *new* Holiday Catalog have been released, so I can finally show you what the kit and stamp set look like together.  If you weren’t able to attend my open house and would like a copy of the Holiday Catalog, please let me know!  It goes live tomorrow and I cannot wait for you to see all the new images and bundles.  Your wish list will definitely be growing…

Monthly Paper Pumpkin Club!

This year I will be having a ‘Christmas Cards in October’ party.  This years cards will feature the Watercolor Christmas Project Kit and coordinating stamp set.  Since both the kit and stamp set will not be released until Friday, I am posting a sneak peak of the 4 different sets of cards in the kit.

My Christmas in October party will be on Sunday, October 15th from 1-4pm.  The kit is $20 and the coordinating rubber stamp set is $18.  If you order both, the total with tax and shipping is $45.

*However* If you preorder them through me by September 1st, I will only charge you $40 for both the kit and the stamp set.  Doing the preorder means that all you have to do is show up on Sunday, October 15 and you will leave with 20 handmade cards ready to go!  You will also leave with the stamp set should you decide you want to make more than the first 20 cards.  Once you see how fun and easy these cards are to make, you will definitely want to make more.  Who doesn’t love receiving a handmade card?

Check me out!  I’ve finally joined the blogging world!  Welcome to my little corner of the crafting universe.  I’m excited to see where this journey goes and all the crafting fun to be had!

My hope is to be posting classes, samples, and other stamping and crafting inspiration.  I currently have a couple classes scheduled and will be posting more about them shortly.
